The custom is to give before Shacharis and before Mincha. A little every day is worth more than one large gesture in Elul — but only if you can see it, which is the whole reason this exists.

We never touch the money.
Benaiah is not a deductible gift recipient, cannot issue you a DGR receipt, and has no business standing between you and a charity. Every donation goes directly to the organisation on their own page, and your receipt comes from them.
This page keeps count and nothing else. “Tax deductible” is a claim about a specific ABN on the ACNC and ABR registers, not a compliment — so we do not make it for anyone until we have recorded their ABN and the date we checked it.
